Our families are the most important part of our lives. The development of relationships we create throughout the years become extremely personal and intimate, and we take all possible steps to protect them. However, we cannot control all the moving pieces in our lives. The actions and decisions of others affect us, whether positively or negatively, and whether intentionally or unintentionally. Those actions and decisions can lead to devastating results for the loving relationships we worked so hard to maintain. There will be confusion and fear of the unknown. But even when you can’t control the actions of others, you can still control your own and make decisions that are positive for you and those you love.
If you didn’t know already, the California family law court system can be quite confusing. Maneuvering through it without a strong legal support system can lead to additional confusion and fear of uncertainty. As part of taking control of your life and making positive decisions, you may need to hire an experienced and knowledgeable family law attorney to advocate for you and the goals you seek to obtain.
My goal for maintaining this family law blog is to provide my San Francisco Bay Area community members with simple-to-comprehend, general information about the California family law, and topics that may affect particular counties within the San Francisco Bay Area. Feel free to comment or ask general questions. Please remember, this is a public forum, viewable by all, and you should not disclose any personal or confidential information. All blog contents are my personal opinions, and are not intended to act as legal advice. Each person’s situation is different and even if something may sound similar or identical to your case, there may be other facts unknown to you that make it different.
